Today is a day of newness and light, life, and transformation emanating into our lives from the Resurrection of Christ. It is a new day for all of us as we renew again the Baptismal promises that brought us to Christ in the first place. Let us go forth with Easter joy to love the Lord, to recognize His presence in others, and to spread the Good News that Jesus lives!
Thank you to all who contributed whether in time, talent, or treasure to the services of the Lenten Season, the Triduum, and the preparation for the celebration of Easter. The best I can say is that it was heartfelt and warming to see so many people involved in building community.
Father Victor Mauricio Velez left us on Friday of last week to begin his ministry to the Hispanic Community on Maui.
