On Tuesday, the Church celebrates the Feast of All Saints although it is not a Holy Day of obligation in our Diocese. Wednesday is the Feast of All Souls. Our regular Masses at Immaculate Conception will be offered for the souls in Purgatory.
Thank you to all who attended our One ‘Ohana last week. We learned that we can continue our faith formation program, even in the least convenient circumstances. Without a kitchen and classroom space, it looked hopeless. Creativity always saves the day and it did. Bagged lunches and small tents were a perfect solution. On November 13 we meet again to discuss the Sacrament of Reconciliation in preparation for our Parish Mission and the communal Penance Service on Nov. 23rd.
We are coming to the end of the third year of the With Grateful Hearts Capital Campaign. Please keep up your pledges as well as you are able. I made my pledge at the beginning of the campaign, and I appreciate the sacrifice that it requires to fulfill it. At the present time we have 62% of the amount we need to build a finished Church. Every month it inches up a little more. Thank you for helping!
Peace in Christ,
