The next Baptism Session for infants to 6-yr olds will be held Sunday, August 22nd at St. Michael’s. Please call the parish office to request a Baptism form. Parents must attend the 11am Mass that Sunday (arriving no later than 10:45am to be seated up front), during which time the priest will present the families to the faith com munity. The babies to be baptized will also be anointed with the Oil of Catechumens, which is the beginning part of the Baptism ceremony. Please do not miss this part, otherwise you will have to wait until next ses sion.
Immediately following the 11am Mass, parents and godparents must attend the Baptism Class in the parish hall at 12:15pm. At this time, you may wish to leave baby with another family member until the class is over (about an hour). If godparents are from another parish, they must attend a Baptism Class at their home parish and a letter from their priest, stating they attended the class, must arrive in the parish office the week prior to the Baptisms.
