April is the month when we celebrate all things new.  It is also the month during which Earth Day is celebrated.

We often think of ecology and environmental justice as someone else’s thing.  Maybe we associate it with radical “tree-huggers” or others who make it difficult for businesses and industry.  But our Catholic Church calls all of us to care, to make a difference, to be good stewards of God’s creation.
